Draft Instream Flow Recommendations Released for Lower Ventura River and Coyote Creek; Studies for San Antonio Creek and the Intermittent Reach of the Ventura River To Be Released Soon

On Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) held a webinar and presented an overview of Draft Instream Flow Recommendations for the Lower Ventura River and Coyote Creek (Draft Recommendations). Additionally, CDFW described results from instream flow studies in San Antonio Creek and the intermittent reach of the mainstem Ventura River.

According to CDFW, the Draft Recommendations are available for a 30-day public input period. Input on the Draft Recommendations should be sent to [email protected] by March 29, 2021. The Draft Recommendations and technical reports for San Antonio Creek and the intermittent reach of the Ventura River will be available for download at: https://wildlife.ca.gov/Conservation/Watersheds/Instream-Flow/Studies/Ventura-River-Studies.
