On Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, the court held a status conference in this case. The court issued a lot of detailed instructions, so we are providing a short update now, but will provide a longer update to provide more understanding on these instructions sometime next week, as well as update the related FAQ sections then.
The court scheduled the next status conference for March 15, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. After that, the court is going to hold monthly status conferences on the third Monday of the month, at 1:30 p.m., except that in May it will be held on May 10 instead of May 17.
The court also ordered all parties currently in the case to provide their initial disclosures as required by law (Code of Civil Procedure section 842) by June 1, 2021. The court indicated that if existing parties needed additional time to make the initial disclosures, they could apply to the court for more time.
