At the Status Conference held on August 17, the Court granted the City of Ventura’s request to extend the deadline for people to file an answer to the City’s Third-Amended Cross-Complaint to October 30, 2020. The existing deadline to file an answer was September 8, 2020, which has now been extended to October 30, 2020.
The City and the other parties working on a locally proposed plan and court-approved settlement agreement (called a “physical solution”) are planning to release the document on September 15, 2020. The extension of the deadline to file an answer to October 30 will enable people to review the proposed document before they decide whether to enter the case by filing an answer.
The Court set the next Status Conference for November 16, 2020.
