The Summons and Notices that were sent out to those impacted in this litigation listed a 60-day deadline to file a response. The City is scheduled for court this month, to ask the court for a six-month extension on the deadline, as the City continues working with other large water users to agree upon a collaborative, locally developed solution that protects our precious natural resources.
In the meantime, in addition to meetings already held, the City has two more scheduled public meetings dedicated solely to this topic, to answer questions and concerns from the public. We invite everyone to attend. There will be an interpreter on-site to assist our Spanish speakers.
